Join the Alexa Growth organization as an Engineering Site Leader in our Hyderabad office. This role is pivotal in driving Alexa's engagement depth and breadth by focusing on key metrics like Conversations per Weekly Active Account and #asks/WAA. You will be instrumental in acquiring new customers and enhancing the engagement of existing ones through innovative, cross-functional initiatives, end-to-end experience optimization, and rapid experimentation across global markets and service tiers.

This position falls under the broader Alexa Core Experiences organization, contributing to the core of Alexa's functionalities and user interactions. Your leadership will directly impact how millions of users interact with Alexa daily.

As an Engineering Leader, you will guide multiple engineering teams, taking ownership of foundational horizontal and vertical components that power Alexa. You will manage engineers directly and potentially oversee other managers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of complex projects. Your responsibilities include making critical technical decisions, from software architecture to operational excellence, and ensuring features scale globally across various languages and devices.

You will play a significant role in shaping our product strategy, defining key features, driving system architecture, and championing best practices that guarantee a superior product quality. Your influence will extend to technical roadmap development and execution.

A minimum of 10 years in engineering is required, with at least 5 years dedicated to engineering team management. Extensive experience (10+ years) in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software experiences is essential. You should possess a proven track record of partnering effectively with product or program management teams and demonstrating expertise in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams within an Agile framework is crucial. Preferred qualifications include experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications, further solidifying your expertise in complex software environments.
