This Senior Manager role is central to GO-AI's mission, focusing on overseeing quality assurance, labor planning, capacity management, and crucial people development initiatives like upskilling, learning programs, and career progression. You will architect the strategy for GO-AI's operational capabilities and future evolution, adeptly translating demand signals into robust production capacity plans and transforming unique program operational patterns into consistently scalable and repeatable processes. A key aspect of this role involves driving operational efficiency, evaluating and integrating tools to optimize workforce planning and utilization, and championing AI-enabled process improvements throughout the organization.
As GO-AI transitions from a labor-intensive service to a technology-driven operation, this position is vital in ensuring the operational foundation—encompassing workforce readiness, stringent quality standards, and precise capacity planning—seamlessly adapts to this transformative journey.
Define and execute the strategic vision for GO-AI's core operations capabilities, ensuring quality, capacity, and people development functions operate cohesively as a scalable system.
Achieve annual operational efficiency targets through continuous improvement methodologies like kaizen, implementing process automation, and optimizing workforce utilization.
Effectively translate fluctuating customer demand into dependable capacity plans that meticulously balance cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely delivery.
Standardize program-specific operational models into scalable service offerings that can be applied across the entire portfolio.
Manage the complete associate lifecycle, from initial onboarding through ongoing upskilling, ensuring workforce preparedness aligns with new program launches and evolving AI model requirements.
Lead the strategic direction for workforce planning and capacity management tools, promoting the adoption of platforms that streamline and replace manual operational tasks.
Represent operations in key cross-functional discussions with engineering, science, and product leadership teams.
Lead and cultivate a geographically dispersed team across the United States, India, and Costa Rica, fostering alignment and consistent operational execution across diverse time zones.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical product or program management is required. Additionally, a minimum of 6 years of experience in team management is essential.
Demonstrated experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition is crucial for this role. You should also possess experience with feature delivery and understanding the tradeoffs involved in product development.
A Bachelor's degree is a mandatory educational requirement. Significant experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or a closely related field is necessary.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively across multiple technical and non-technical teams is a key requirement for success in this position.
Preferred qualifications include experience delivering consumer software products and services in rapidly growing environments, as well as experience in fast-paced, automated industrial, logistics, production, or manufacturing settings.
Experience with operations planning specifically for AI/ML data production, annotation, or expert workforce operations is highly desirable. A track record of converting bespoke operational solutions into standardized, repeatable service offerings is beneficial.
Experience driving AI adoption or process automation within an operations organization, along with familiarity with make/buy decisions for operational software tools such as WFM, scheduling, and planning platforms, would be advantageous.
