As a Microsoft consultant, you will drive quality engagements by leveraging your expertise as an advisor, reviewer, contributor, or resource on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen, creativity, and a customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional solutions, ensuring clients maximize their benefits from our technologies. Consulting Delivery professionals bring deep subject matter and solution expertise to architectural teams, clients, and partners, accelerating the adoption of Microsoft devices and services through strategic, architectural, and operational alignment.
Design, build, and optimize comprehensive cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions as a Full Stack Infrastructure Consultant. Ensure environments are secure, scalable, and high-performing across the entire technology stack.
Take ownership of technical quality assurance, proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks in client and partner deliverables. Develop technology-aligned strategies that directly support business objectives.
Apply technical experience and industry knowledge to craft solutions, carefully analyzing how proposed approaches impact client business goals. Ensure adherence to information-compliance and assurance policies to maintain stakeholder confidence.
Drive innovation by identifying new processes and opportunities to help clients and partners build and accelerate their capabilities using Microsoft technologies. Define best-practice approaches for projects, addressing a wide spectrum of technical challenges and contributing to reusable intellectual capital across Microsoft and with global clients.
A minimum of 10 years of industry experience is required, including at least 3 years focused on Azure Infrastructure. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience is essential. Advanced technical certifications or higher education are highly preferred.
Mandatory certifications include Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ104), with Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ305) being strongly favored. Terraform Associate certification and proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation are highly valued.
Experience with cloud AI certifications like Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) or equivalents, coupled with a practical understanding of AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms, offers a significant advantage. Proficiency in Python for automation, AI integration, and scripting across infrastructure workflows is crucial.
Demonstrated experience across both application architecture and cloud infrastructure domains is needed, enabling effective bridging between development and operations teams. A strong command of Azure Cloud Strategy, Networking, and DevOps practices, including the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Azure Landing Zones, is expected.
Expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including compute, storage, and networking components like VNet, ExpressRoute, and vWAN, is required. Experience deploying business-critical applications and implementing secure connectivity with Zero Trust principles is essential. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD platforms, and automation tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI is mandatory.
Multi-cloud migration experience, particularly migrating from AWS or GCP to Azure using tools like Azure Migrate, is important. Familiarity with the entire migration lifecycle and container modernization initiatives is beneficial. Strong knowledge of infrastructure security, network segmentation, Azure Firewall, Private Link, and implementing secure landing zones following CAF & Well-Architected Framework principles is vital.
Candidates should possess a consulting mindset, with a strong interest in continuous learning, emerging technologies, and receiving feedback. Demonstrated success in delivering customer-facing projects in large-scale enterprise environments, conducting technical workshops, and possessing strong communication and presentation skills are key. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing are highly desirable.
