Seeking a seasoned Azure and Unix Engineer with extensive experience in Terraform and CI/CD pipeline management. This position emphasizes a completely automated approach to Azure infrastructure, forbidding any manual resource creation. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in cloud platform engineering.

This role is pivotal in ensuring a secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environment. Focus will be on sophisticated infrastructure-as-code practices to manage all Azure resources, maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.

Design and implement Azure infrastructure exclusively via Terraform, ensuring no manual resource modifications. This includes managing Virtual Machines, Resource Groups, Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Oversee host pool creation, deletion, and lifecycle. Implement and manage Azure Application Gateway, including SSL certificate renewal using Terraform. Collaborate with Application, Database, and Infrastructure teams to translate requirements into deployable Terraform code.

Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, leveraging Azure DevOps. Ensure all infrastructure is version-controlled, auditable, and compliant using Git and Terraform. Actively troubleshoot and resolve Azure and Terraform-related issues, liaising with customers and Microsoft support when necessary.

A strong foundation in Terraform for Azure infrastructure is essential, coupled with a deep understanding of Azure architecture and services. Proven experience in managing infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines and proficiency in Git-based workflows are critical.

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are required. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients, Microsoft, and internal teams. The ability to foster collaborative relationships across APP, DB, and Infra teams is a key requirement for success in this role.
