This role is crucial for defining and implementing enterprise-wide performance testing and engineering frameworks. You will establish key performance indicators, benchmarks, and service level agreements to ensure optimal application performance across complex, large-scale systems.

Your expertise will be vital in reviewing application architectures to identify potential performance risks early in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We expect you to provide actionable recommendations for performance optimization and scalability enhancements, contributing directly to the robustness of our products.

This position involves designing and executing a comprehensive suite of performance tests, including load, stress, volume, endurance, spike, scalability, and capacity testing. You will develop reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts, and create realistic workload models to simulate user behavior accurately. Analyzing performance test results to pinpoint bottlenecks and providing detailed reports are key aspects of this role.

Furthermore, you will conduct root cause analysis for application performance issues, examining metrics such as CPU utilization, memory consumption, thread behavior, network latency, database performance, and JVM metrics. Close collaboration with development, infrastructure, DBA, and DevOps teams is essential for resolving performance challenges and providing tuning recommendations for applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure.
