We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Architect with over 15 years of extensive experience to join our team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting modern workplace solutions, particularly leveraging Java and AWS technologies, along with open-source platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of architectural patterns and a passion for innovation. This role is critical for advising on application portfolios, leading legacy application modernization efforts, and managing monolith-to-microservices conversions. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic plans, overseeing daily operations, and cultivating strong client relationships. Continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends are key to success in this dynamic position.

Design and implement robust Java/AWS and open-source solutions. Partner with IT and business stakeholders to provide expert technical guidance and support. Develop strategic plans, manage day-to-day operations, and build lasting client relationships. Lead and mentor a team, monitor key performance indicators, and stay current with emerging industry trends. Drive the development of new capabilities, offerings, and accelerators. Provide pre-sales support, including technical solution design and estimations. Conduct technology training for team members and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs). Offer technology consulting to project teams, guiding Java leads and developers. Contribute to practice development, create roadmaps, and conduct technical interviews.

A minimum of 15 years of professional experience is required. Must hold an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification. Demonstrated proficiency in Java J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Stack, or other microservices platforms like Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes. Extensive experience in advising on application portfolios and executing legacy application modernization, including monolith-to-microservices conversions. Proven experience with REST web services, Spring, JPA/Hibernate/IBATIS, and any Cache or MQ framework. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Glue, Kinesis, Athena, Lambda, Cognito, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation, and ECS. Familiarity with at least two estimation methods (e.g., MVCP, UCP, FP, COCOMO, WBS). Experience working with a minimum of two databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra). Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to recommend end-to-end solutions with a clear understanding of their pros and cons.
