This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen and excellent interpersonal abilities to support client applications effectively.

You will be responsible for managing SQL Server databases across their lifecycle, from development to production. This includes configuring and maintaining database servers, monitoring system health and performance, and ensuring high levels of availability and security.

Key duties involve refining and automating regular processes for efficiency and cost optimization, providing 24x7 support for critical systems, and sharing expertise through mentorship and cross-training.

You will also be tasked with troubleshooting issues, documenting changes, and contributing to a robust and secure database environment.

The position requires hands-on experience with MS SQL Server Database Administration (DBA).

Successful candidates will manage database servers and processes, focusing on system health, performance, availability, and security. The role also demands the ability to refine and automate processes, track issues, and document changes.

Providing round-the-clock support for production systems and offering technical mentorship to peers are essential aspects of this role. Strong communication skills are a must.
