Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Build secure, resilient REST APIs and backend services. Participate in backlog refinement, solution design, estimation, and sprint planning. Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar technologies. Integrate services with relational databases and frameworks like Spring Data JPA. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, conducting root-cause analysis. Contribute to CI/CD automation, security scans, and operational support. Produce clear technical documentation and API specifications. Mentor junior engineers and promote clean code and modern engineering practices.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required. A minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience in designing and developing enterprise Java applications. Proficiency in modern Java (preferably Java 17 or 21) and extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem. Hands-on experience with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring REST, and building RESTful APIs. Experience with event-driven solutions (Kafka), relational databases, SQL, and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with distributed teams.
