Join our team as a Specialist in Legal Entity Controllership (LEC) and play a key role in month-end close accounting, billing, and reporting processes. This position involves daily general ledger control checks, reference data maintenance, revenue billing, management information reporting, inter-entity reconciliations, and GL balance substantiation. You will be an integral part of the corporate accounting and billing team.

Collaboration with various finance teams across India and internationally, as well as external auditors, is a significant aspect of this position, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Execute month-end and quarter-end book close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and variance analysis. Prepare legal entity financials, quarterly packages, and supporting reports, along with audit responses and updated documentation. Manage close and consolidation processes, including notes to accounts, shareholder's equity statements, intercompany eliminations, and equity reconciliations, resolving discrepancies. Support ad hoc analyses, troubleshoot processes, and coordinate closely with financial reporting, treasury, reconciliation, fund administration, and FP&A teams. Drive process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce risk. Oversee end-to-end billing operations for institutional investment advisory clients, ensuring accurate revenue accounting, receivables management, and regulatory reporting. Process billing for institutional clients' investment advisory services and perform fee calculations based on client agreements and contractual terms.
Key tasks involve calculating and posting revenue accruals, investigating unreconciled billing data, and collaborating to ensure billing accuracy and timely resolution of exceptions.
A Master's degree in Finance, or an MBA, is required. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred.
This role necessitates 5 years of relevant work experience, with 8+ years being preferred.
Proficiency in financial systems like Workiva, FCCS, and Coda is advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Knowledge of IFRS and experience with AI tools are preferred. A commitment to a culture of excellence and client service is expected.
