As a Solution Engineer within the AI Business Solutions – Copilot team, you will spearhead technical engagements instrumental in driving AI transformation for major enterprise clients. Your primary objective is to secure technical decisions and accelerate the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio & Agents, and associated solutions. This will be achieved through compelling demonstrations, insightful envisioning sessions, and the design of scalable architectures.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, expertly guiding customers through secure, compliant, and value-focused implementations that align perfectly with their overarching enterprise strategies. This position is crucial for shaping the future of work by enabling clients to fully leverage AI-powered productivity tools. Collaboration with sales, customer success, engineering, and partner teams is essential to overcome technical hurdles, cultivate opportunities, and ensure smooth transitions for deployment and adoption. Success will be evaluated through technical achievements, customer adoption rates, partner engagement, and contributions to a dynamic, learning-focused team culture.

Orchestrate complex technical engagements with multiple stakeholders to drive AI transformation, including leading architecture design for secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise strategies. Mentor engineers and lead peer learning initiatives to enhance team capabilities, while also influencing product and go-to-market strategies through structured feedback to leadership. Proactively identify and escalate unresolved technical blockers through established channels, championing compliance, diversity, and inclusion by exemplifying ethical and inclusive practices. Lead AI transformation initiatives such as demos and pilots to secure technical wins and customer commitment for Copilot/Agents, developing documented adoption plans and facilitating a seamless handover to Customer Success or partners for user onboarding. Support sales efforts by engaging with customer contacts, leading qualification processes, and pursuing partner co-sell opportunities. Assist with upsell initiatives focused on Teams Phone requiring technical support, bringing in partners for co-sell when necessary. Generate new pipeline and achieve competitive wins for M365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio & Agents, and Frontline Worker solutions. Deliver impactful AI-powered demos and "Art-of-the-Possible" sessions, remove technical blockers, and highlight Microsoft's unique value proposition to secure deals and protect existing customer relationships. Develop scalable, secure, and modular architectures that align with customer enterprise strategies and technical roadmaps, ensuring security is embedded at every level. Maintain operational excellence with meticulous deal hygiene, documenting technical close plans and consumption plans in MSX for every opportunity. Ensure a partner is attached to every qualified deal and promptly escalate any persistent technical blockers.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience. You should have 8-10 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting, or other customer-facing technical roles. A robust understanding of Microsoft Copilot technologies, Generative AI, and AI-powered productivity solutions is essential. Key technical proficiencies include knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure AI services. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 workloads such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required. Basic to advanced knowledge of cloud architecture, identity management, security, and compliance concepts is necessary. The ability to build demos, proof-of-concepts, and design customer solution architectures is critical. Strong customer and business acumen includes experience conducting customer discovery sessions, identifying business challenges, and translating business requirements into effective AI-powered solutions. Excellent presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills are vital, along with proven experience in leading technical demonstrations and workshops. Preferred experience includes AI, machine learning, prompt engineering, or conversational agents, as well as knowledge of enterprise productivity, business process automation, and digital transformation. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure AI, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365) are advantageous.
