As an AI Applications Solution Engineer, you will empower enterprise AI developers to maximize the potential of Microsoft's AI stack throughout their development journey. Working closely with engineering leaders and platform teams, you will accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, and Responsible AI through hands-on engagements like Proof of Concepts, hackathons, and architecture workshops. This role offers substantial career growth, development of business acumen, enhancement of technical skills, and mastery in solution design and deployment.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers in designing secure, scalable solutions, influencing technical decisions, and facilitating the integration of AI applications into their business workflows. Ultimately, you'll help customers modernize their applications and fully realize the value of Microsoft's AI platform, supported by flexible work arrangements.

Drive technical sales initiatives by engaging decision-makers with compelling demos and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to influence solution design and enable production deployments.

Lead hands-on engagements, including hackathons, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops, to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft's developer tools and cloud platforms.

Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with developers and platform leads, collaboratively designing secure, scalable architectures and solutions.

Address and resolve technical blockers and objections, working closely with engineering teams to share insights and contribute to product improvements.

Maintain and deepen expertise in Microsoft Foundry & App architecture, encompassing Agentic AI frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, and Responsible AI, alongside cloud-native development principles such as APIs, containerization, microservices, event-driven architecture, and proficiency in Python, Java, or .NET.

Sustain and expand expertise in AI Management & Security, including Generative AI Operations (Gen AI Ops), Sentinel, orchestrator, and monitoring tools.

Represent Microsoft by contributing thought leadership within developer communities and customer forums.

Possess at least 7 years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting.

Alternatively, hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 6 years in technical pre-sales or consulting.

Another pathway includes a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, combined with at least 4 years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience.

Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in full-stack application architecture design and modernization, as well as cloud-native development principles (e.g., APIs, containerization, microservices, event-driven architecture, Python, Java, .NET).

Exhibit expert proficiency with AI & ML models, including Agentic AI frameworks, Microsoft Foundry, Semantic Kernel, Foundry SDK, Responsible AI practices, fine-tuning, and inferencing.

Proven capability to lead technical engagements, such as hackathons, PoCs, and MVPs, that yield production-scale outcomes.
