You'll be part of a global organization of experts dedicated to crafting industry-specific solutions powered by Microsoft Cloud and AI. This role is at the forefront of innovation, driving customer success across their digital and AI transformation journeys.
We are seeking individuals who can empower their teams, foster a culture of accountability, and drive impactful outcomes. If you have a passion for technology, a knack for leadership, and a desire to shape the future of enterprise solutions, this opportunity is for you.
As a Solution Architect Manager, your primary focus will be on people management, including coaching, empowering, and caring for your team. You will guide your team in understanding customer technical environments, translating business goals into robust architecture and digital transformation solutions, and ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Your role involves driving architecture design and deployment by holding teams accountable for leveraging existing approaches and developing new, scalable solutions. You will ensure rigorous documentation, facilitate cost-based discussions, and promote a business-value approach. Additionally, you'll champion practice development by generating intellectual property, fostering knowledge sharing, and participating in internal and external communities.
Serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a technical conscience. You will provide thought leadership by fostering community sharing, mentoring colleagues, and participating in external events. Your ability to translate complex concepts, challenge the status quo, and drive consensus will be crucial for success.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 8 years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience is acceptable.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience in the same domains. We also look for candidates with 6+ years of technical sales experience, 6+ years of project management experience, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects or portfolios.
Experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams (1+ year) and managing people, including consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and technical architect managers (3+ years), is highly valued. Technical or professional certification in a specific domain (e.g., Security) is also a plus.
