NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software solutions. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in automation testing and experience with modern testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities include identifying and selecting automation test cases, defining and documenting automation test strategies, and developing comprehensive automation test plans. You will be responsible for configuring and setting up test environments, including the Selenium Test Environment (STE) and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).

Further duties involve designing, developing, and debugging automated test scripts, adhering to established test automation guidelines. You will also research software issues, collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers on solutions, and stay updated with the latest industry advancements. Automating framework designs, implementing them according to project structures, and managing the defect lifecycle are also integral parts of this role. The specialist will execute regression tests, resolve complex issues related to object identity and error handling, and interact with clients to address concerns and provide updates.

A strong foundation in automation engineering is mandatory, with proven experience in WebdriverIO or Playwright. Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is essential for this position.

We are looking for individuals who can independently identify and select appropriate test cases for automation, and who have the ability to design and document robust automation test strategies. The role requires creating and gaining approval for automation test plans, and hands-on experience in configuring and setting up test environments is necessary. Developing and debugging test automation scripts using established guidelines is a core function.
