This role is part of the Financial Solutions team, specifically within Financial Systems. This group provides automated and scalable pricing, billing, and reporting solutions, ensuring robust governance and support for enterprise systems critical to Mastercard's financial operations. We support over 25,000 users with a unified chart of accounts for financial and statutory reporting.

As a Software Integration Engineer-II, you will be responsible for supporting the SAP Concur Expense & Travel management system. This includes creating reports and managing integrations with various boundary systems.

You will define requirements for new Concur Expense applications and customizations, ensuring adherence to Mastercard's standards, processes, and best practices, including T&E policies. Collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams is essential for gathering requirements, designing solutions, and providing ongoing support.

Key duties involve hands-on development of high-quality, secure, modular, functional, and testable code. You will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, and testing. Effective communication and collaboration in a global environment are crucial. You will also ensure methodology compliance, manage resolutions, and monitor adherence to estimates, reporting to management as needed.

We are seeking a motivated professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience with Concur Expense implementation and support is required.

Strong expertise in Concur Configurations, including custom fields, approval workflows, expense types, and audit rules, is essential. You must have extensive experience utilizing SAP Concur APIs for integrations, preferably with Boomi middleware. Proficiency in Cognos reporting and data delivery services is also necessary.

Technical proficiency in REST API-based integration, including authentication mechanisms like mTLS and OAuth 2.0, is required. Experience with the Boomi integration platform for building integrations is a significant advantage. Exposure to Microsoft Power BI for reporting is beneficial. Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting would be a plus.

A broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is mandatory. Candidates should be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of functioning independently under pressure. A strong sense of initiative and self-motivation to drive results is expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with robust relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills, are vital for success in this role.
