This role is within the Financial Solutions – Financial Systems team, which provides automated and scalable pricing, billing, and reporting systems. We ensure robust governance and support for enterprise systems critical for financial tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and Supply Chain Management, serving over 25,000 users globally.
As a Software Integration Engineer-II, you will be instrumental in supporting the SAP Concur Expense & Travel management system, focusing on report creation and integrations with other systems. You will define requirements for new Concur Expense applications and customizations, ensuring adherence to Mastercard's standards, processes, best practices, and compliance with T&E policies.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders and project managers to gather requirements, design effective solutions, and provide ongoing support. You'll function as a hands-on developer, writing high-quality, secure, modular, and testable code. Your contributions will span the entire software development lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, and testing. Effective communication and collaboration in a global environment are essential, as is ensuring methodology compliance and managing resolutions.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with practical experience in Concur Expense implementation and support. Essential expertise includes strong knowledge of Concur Configurations, such as custom fields, approval workflows, expense types, and audit rules.
You should possess extensive experience with SAP Concur APIs for building integrations using the Boomi middleware, as well as strong proficiency in Cognos reporting and data delivery services. Hands-on technical skills in REST API-based integration, including authentication/authorization mechanisms like mTLS and OAuth 2.0, are crucial. Familiarity with the Boomi integration platform for building integrations is also required.
Exposure to Microsoft Power BI for reporting is beneficial. While SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting are considered a plus, a broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is mandatory. Ideal candidates are high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure, demonstrating a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results. Strong verbal and written communication, along with excellent relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills, are essential.
