Provide Staff-level technical judgment to guide system architecture and design decisions, ensuring prompt and risk-managed technical advancements.

Collaborate effectively with Product, Program, Payments Compliance, and Export Legal teams to launch new features, define roadmaps, and enhance existing solutions.

Oversee the infrastructure for the Sanctions platform, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and reliability while actively mitigating technical debt.

Partner with Product Managers to translate legal and compliance requirements into scalable and effective sanctions screening solutions.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Minimum of 8 years in software development using languages like Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.

Requires 3 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity.

A minimum of 2 years in people management or team leadership is essential.

Preferred candidates will possess a Master's or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with experience in designing and maintaining scalable products for external clients. Familiarity with large-scale backend infrastructure and demonstrating Staff-level technical judgment for complex systems is highly valued. A background in compliance and strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills are also beneficial.
