Define and communicate team priorities that align with overarching organizational objectives. Ensure strategy, processes, and decision-making are consistent across all teams.
Establish clear individual expectations based on role and level, aligned with organizational goals. Conduct regular performance and development discussions, offering constructive feedback and coaching.
Develop the mid-term technical vision and roadmap for your team(s). Adapt the roadmap to proactively address future requirements and infrastructure needs.
Guide and review system designs within your area. Contribute code to solve complex and ambiguous problems.
Conduct code reviews for other engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices for style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess at least 5 years of experience in software development, proficient in languages such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
Demonstrate 3 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity, managing strategic projects, complemented by 2 years in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. Eight years of software development experience and three years working within a complex, matrixed organization are also beneficial.
