Design and launch groundbreaking products for the Database Intelligence Platform, serving all Google Cloud Platform databases.

Provide strategic direction and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery of data platform, AI agents, and MCP server initiatives.

Engage in design and code reviews, fostering best practices and continuous improvement within the team.

Align technical direction across various GCP database teams, including Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Bigtable, Firestore, MemoryStore, and Spanner.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, and compute, storage, or hardware architecture.

Demonstrate 3 years in a technical leadership role and 2 years in people or team management.

Experience building and maintaining data platforms, coupled with proficiency in database performance troubleshooting and knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK, is highly preferred.
