Design and implement groundbreaking products for the Database Intelligence Platform, serving all Google Cloud Platform databases. Provide strategic technical direction and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure the high-quality delivery of data platforms, AI agents, and related initiatives. Engage actively in design and code reviews, upholding best practices and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. Foster strong relationships and ensure technical alignment across various GCP database teams, including Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Bigtable, Firestore, MemoryStore, and Spanner.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside 8 years of software development expertise. This includes 3 years focused on large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute, storage, or hardware architecture. Additionally, 3 years of technical leadership and 2 years of people management experience are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience building and maintaining data platforms, expertise in database performance troubleshooting, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or OTel.
