As a Software Engineering Lead, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to debugging and deployment. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices.
Key duties include collaborating with team members on feature design and development, optimizing existing software performance, and ensuring effective communication with management and support teams. You will actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, design and test case reviews, and production readiness reviews.
Furthermore, you will manage and mentor development teams, guide solutioning and development efforts, and ensure smooth release processes. This role also encompasses supporting P1 Application OM & DevOps activities and complying with all employment contracts and company policies.
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, holding a B.Tech or MCA degree (16+ years of formal education). A strong background as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in microservices architecture is essential.
Proficiency in AI, Angular, Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, Git, RESTful APIs, Splunk, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure Cloud, AKS, and GitHub Actions is required. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including Python, LangGraph, LangChain, and FastAPI, is highly desirable.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of core design principles for scalable and maintainable applications, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis and change management is crucial. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to learn quickly and embrace new technologies are expected.
