Lead the design, development, and operation of secure cloud platform services and software tailored to meet evolving business needs. Guide a team of cloud platform engineers, ensuring technical solutions adhere to architectural principles, established design patterns, and stringent enterprise security requirements. Drive innovation, streamline processes, and actively reduce technical debt through standardization of patterns. Automate repetitive tasks, enhance application monitoring, simplify work practices, define key metrics, and uphold high operational quality for all applications.
Manage platform-level security controls to ensure secure, efficient, and policy-compliant operations. Collaborate extensively with partner teams to disseminate information security guidance and standards, effectively mitigating security risks. Provide dedicated coaching, mentoring, and leadership to the Cloud Platform team, fostering skill development and knowledge enhancement within the team.
A minimum of 10 years of experience as a software development engineer, including hands-on coding for production systems, is essential. Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, extending beyond basic IaaS. Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, such as Python, Golang, or JavaScript, is required, alongside 5+ years of engineering experience in building infrastructure through code and repeatable designs (IaC).
Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years with containerization and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and 2+ years in automating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins (Pipeline as Code) or GitHub Actions, with strong proficiency in Git for source control, is expected. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in leading Agile/Lean development practices is necessary.
