This role involves extensive Azure DevOps configuration and administration, including Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts. You will design and configure ADO projects, establish platform standards, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities also include engineering robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML, creating reusable pipeline templates, and managing environment-specific configurations. Source code and ADO migration from legacy systems to Azure Repos is a key aspect, requiring careful planning and execution to preserve history and integrity.

Furthermore, you will define and implement Git Flow or fit-for-purpose branching strategies, guide development teams on Git best practices, and manage repository hygiene. Security, permissions, and governance are critical, involving the configuration of ADO security groups, project permissions, and integration with Microsoft Entra ID to ensure a secure and compliant environment.

A Bachelor's Degree is required, complemented by over 7 years of IT experience with a strong focus on DevOps, configuration management, or release engineering. You need at least 4 years of hands-on Azure DevOps administration and engineering experience.

Essential skills include deep knowledge of Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts, alongside experience in designing ADO projects and work-item structures. A solid understanding of Git, Git Flow, branching strategies, pull requests, and branch policies is crucial.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python is necessary. Expertise in creating and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, along with excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, are expected.
