Design, implement, test, and deploy backend features that drive new search and AI retrieval capabilities within Azure. Take full ownership from technical conception through production deployment and ongoing operation.

Enhance product and service quality through active DevOps practices. This includes robust monitoring, effective diagnostics, rapid incident response, thorough root-cause analysis, proactive automation, and development of live-site tooling.

Collaborate closely with customers to gain a deep understanding of their scenarios and provide timely issue resolution.

Cultivate expertise in Azure provisioning and comprehensive service management.

Demonstrate strong aptitude for problem-solving, troubleshooting, and clear communication. Possess a solid understanding of fundamental systems principles, encompassing operating systems, networking, concurrency, storage, algorithms, data structures, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.

Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record in designing, developing, testing, and operating production software.

Experience developing production software using languages such as C#, C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages is essential. Familiarity with scripting, automation, or SQL is considered an advantage.

Proven experience in building and delivering production-grade cloud services, including the design and implementation of telemetry and monitoring solutions. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Lucene, Elasticsearch, Open Search, and the ELK stack, as well as experience building systems on major cloud platforms. The ability to coordinate resources across diverse teams to restore service and maintain SLAs is highly valued. Conceptualizing distributed services, their dependencies, and transactional flows for troubleshooting across network, application, caching, queuing, load-balancing, storage, and distributed service layers is a significant asset.
