The Platforms and Devices team is at the forefront of Google's computing software. We research, design, and develop cutting-edge technologies to enhance user interaction with computing across all environments, building seamless and innovative experiences.

Architect and implement large-scale automated static program analysis frameworks. Develop secure and insightful code exploration and reverse engineering tools. Conduct research and propose novel methods for identifying emerging malware and abusive applications through static analysis. Write and contribute to product or system development code. Engage in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices. Analyze and resolve product or system issues, debugging and tracking sources of problems.

A PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Proven experience in static program analysis, compilers, or security domains. Demonstrated experience with malware analysis, threat detection, or abuse detection methodologies. 2 years of experience in security and privacy is preferred. Exceptional engineering capabilities are highly valued for this role.
