As a key member of a focused and adaptable team, you will be instrumental in designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining robust software solutions. Within the Google Cloud Networking team, you'll manage the complete lifecycle of IP addresses for Google Compute Engine and other GCP services. This includes developing features for IP allocation, assignment, and tracking to support customer virtual networks. Responsibilities extend to designing and implementing highly scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems for hybrid cloud networking, making critical technical judgments, and identifying system improvement opportunities.

The role requires a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Essential experience includes software development with a focus on large-scale distributed systems, AI/ML, networking, data storage, or security. Proficiency in designing and developing distributed systems, understanding concurrency, multi-threading, and synchronization is crucial. A strong grasp of algorithms, complexity analysis, and system design is also necessary. Candidates must be proficient in coding languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, or Golang.
