This role is within our Core Payments team, focusing on critical functionalities like Authorization, Clearing, and Debit. Responsibilities include comprehensive test planning and execution for software changes, focusing on high performance and business requirement alignment. You will be responsible for maintaining and presenting project metrics for management review. This role also involves automating the regression test suite, redundant tasks, and test data generation.
Effective coordination between various internal and external teams, including vendors, is crucial for project success. You will also contribute to quality initiatives and potentially guide junior talent as a subject matter expert.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 2 to 6 years of IT industry experience is required, with hands-on proficiency in Mainframe Testing, including batch and online scenarios. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks like BDD, Selenium, or AI tools is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and possess strong communication skills. A solid understanding of the payments and cards industry, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies, is highly valued. Experience with Micro Focus COBOL, TWS Scheduler, and DB2 LUW is also a significant asset for this role.
