Review code developed by fellow engineers, providing constructive feedback to uphold best practices in accuracy, testability, and efficiency. Contribute to and update documentation and educational materials, adapting them based on product evolution and user insights.
Triage and resolve product or system issues by analyzing root causes and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management.
Proficiency in at least one programming language for software development (e.g., C++, Golang) is essential, with 2 years of experience or 1 year with an advanced degree. Experience should encompass software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and debugging.
Familiarity with cloud security, cloud identity, cybersecurity, distributed computing concepts, and related technologies is crucial. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, experience with data structures and algorithms, GCP services, and security protocols like OAuth 2.0.
