Craft robust product or system development code, actively participating in and leading design reviews to select optimal technologies. Provide constructive code reviews to peers, upholding best practices in accuracy, testability, and efficiency. Contribute to and update product documentation and educational materials. Effectively triage and resolve system issues by performing in-depth analysis of root causes and their impact on hardware, network operations, and service quality.

This role involves deep engagement with the codebase and collaborative problem-solving.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is essential. Requires 2 years of software development experience in at least one programming language, or 1 year with an advanced degree. You should have 2 years of experience with embedded operating systems. Proficiency in Kernel, Kernel Drivers, Networking, Device Drivers, Debugging/Troubleshooting is a must.

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and experience developing accessible technologies or with SmartNICs. Deep expertise in the Linux kernel or network device drivers, coupled with strong knowledge of the Linux kernel networking stack, is highly advantageous. Strong C/C++ skills and a meticulous attention to detail are expected. Broad systems expertise for effective debugging and a passion for end-to-end system functionality are key.
