Develop and implement product or system-level code. Engage in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select optimal technologies. Provide constructive feedback on code developed by colleagues, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Contribute to and update product documentation and educational materials. Analyze, triage, and resolve product or system issues by investigating root causes and their impact on operations and quality.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Possess at least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree. Demonstrate 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems. Familiarity with Kernel, Kernel Drivers, Networking, Device Drivers, Debugging, and Troubleshooting is essential.
Preferred candidates will have 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and experience developing accessible technologies or SmartNICs. Deep expertise in the Linux kernel or network device drivers, alongside strong C/C++ skills and meticulous attention to detail, are highly valued. A broad systems perspective for effective issue resolution and a passion for end-to-end system functionality are also key.
