We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer II specializing in Mainframe Development to contribute to our Core Payments teams. This role involves developing cutting-edge solutions and ensuring the performance and reliability of our payment systems. Design and develop high-performance software solutions that align with business requirements.

Maintain and present project-related metrics for management review.

Serve as a Technical Lead, proposing innovative solutions to the team and guiding technical direction.

Drive initiatives for automation, defect metrics, and overall quality improvements.

Coordinate effectively between cross-functional teams located in various geographical regions.

Proven experience in mainframe development, including proficiency with COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, PROC, Microfocus COBOL, TWS Scheduler, and DB2 LUW.

Demonstrated hands-on experience in software development, including full lifecycle projects and Agile methodologies.

Solid understanding of the Payment and Cards industry is essential.

Ability to act as a technical subject matter expert and mentor junior team members.

Experience in Batch and Online development is required, along with a focus on Automation and Code Quality. Strong communication skills and the ability to guide teams toward implementing optimal solutions are crucial.
