Our Open Finance Europe – Connectivity team is seeking a Software Engineer II to build and manage scalable API integrations for financial institutions across Europe.

You will be instrumental in creating scalable solutions, collaborating on system design, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software for production environments. Develop, test, and support robust APIs and backend services. Contribute to designing and implementing maintainable, reliable software solutions. Ensure high-quality code throughout the development lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve production and application issues, seeking guidance when necessary. Actively participate in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices. Implement and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Architecture, Security, and SRE. Enhance service observability, automation, and operational efficiency. Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and engineering practices.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Requires 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience. Proficiency in developing backend applications and APIs using modern programming frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems concepts. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and secure coding principles. Ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges, with the capacity to seek guidance from senior engineers. Proven experience delivering software components and features within a collaborative team setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
