We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to contribute to a cutting-edge platform for managing AI agents across the Microsoft Cloud. This role involves working with large-scale, cloud-native systems powered by big data, machine learning, NLP, and search technologies to deliver intelligent, secure, and reliable agent experiences.
Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and security experts globally to transform complex customer needs into robust solutions on Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365. A security-first mindset is paramount, involving threat analysis and penetration testing to ensure service resilience and compliance. You will be instrumental in writing, optimizing, debugging, and refactoring code to enhance performance, maintainability, and ROI.
Leverage product expertise to partner with project managers on project and release plans. Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers, developing operational playbooks, and being on call to monitor systems for degradation. You will proactively identify and address issues, ensuring system availability and informing stakeholders of status.
Continuously seek new knowledge and adapt to emerging technical trends and solutions to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance. Drive consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
We require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience is necessary.
Hands-on proficiency with C++ and/or C# is essential, alongside experience with big data, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and search technologies. Strong analytical skills, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration experience are key.
Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud services like Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365 is expected. A solid understanding of security principles, including penetration testing and threat analysis, is also crucial. Candidates must meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
