As a Software Engineer II, you will design and develop modern web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js, translating complex requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions. You will build responsive, accessible user interfaces, design and maintain RESTful APIs, and optimize data models across relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Your role will involve contributing to software architecture discussions, developing reusable software components, and creating comprehensive automated tests. You will champion secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and actively troubleshoot production issues using root cause analysis. Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing application performance in production environments are key, alongside collaborating with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business capabilities through Agile ceremonies and continuous delivery.

We are seeking candidates with strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, coupled with hands-on experience in React and modern frontend ecosystems. Proven experience building backend services and APIs with Node.js and Express.js is essential, alongside a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frontend performance optimization.

Expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs, integrating third-party services, and a deep understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) are required. Candidates should be familiar with database design, indexing strategies, query optimization, and data modeling. Experience with Git, software design principles, object-oriented programming, and common design patterns is crucial.
