Qualifications

We are seeking a Software Engineer II with a strong background in site reliability and a passion for building and operating highly available systems.

Essential skills include: - Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Python, and shell scripting. - Demonstrated ability to design and maintain end-to-end deployment pipelines (build, test, deploy, rollback). - Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry. - Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and dependency management. - Exposure to configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Chef). - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Proficiency in containerization using Docker and managing image lifecycles. - Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Knowledge of platform engineering principles, including creating reusable deployment templates and shared services. - Experience supporting multi-environment setups (dev, test, staging, production) with proper isolation and governance. - Strong troubleshooting capabilities in Linux-based production environments. - Awareness of SRE principles and reliability best practices. - Experience developing and integrating AI-driven workflows for automation in areas like incident analysis, anomaly detection, or intelligent observability. - A strong passion for Agile software development methodologies (SAFe or Scrum).

Additional desirable skills include proficiency in Java JDK 8+, expertise in Junit, knowledge of Tomcat, Spring, Spring Boot, experience with SQL, multi-threading, message queuing systems, distributed systems, and Business Rules Management Systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital. You should demonstrate initiative, a drive for continuous improvement, a passion for code quality, and a strong team-player mentality. Fluency in English is required.
