The Cross Border Services team is pivotal in enhancing cross-border payment services for consumers and corporations. By providing a single connection, we offer access to over three billion bank accounts worldwide, supporting various payment types and endpoints in more than 60 countries. This includes mobile wallets and cash-out locations, facilitating P2P, B2P, B2B, and G2P disbursements.

As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute as an individual developer on medium-sized projects, applying advanced knowledge within your discipline and leading specific initiatives. You will be responsible for developing applications, system-to-system interfaces, and comprehensive software solutions. This includes creating essential documentation such as user guides and software development guides.

Key tasks involve meticulous code development, participating in code peer reviews, and handling day-to-day support duties. Effectively communicating application status, coding challenges, and other relevant issues is crucial for success in this role.

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer with a passion for designing and building scalable, operable, and highly available code. Essential experience includes software development and architecture for large-scale distributed and event-driven systems, coupled with strong server development and administration skills.

Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, data stores, and web services is required. Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Deployment tools like Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines, along with build tools such as Maven, is necessary. Experience with version control systems like GIT and Agile project management tools like Rally (ALM) is expected.

Candidates should possess a BE in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. A self-starter attitude, with the ability to take ownership and debug technical issues independently, is highly valued. Expertise in web technologies, particularly AngularJS, is considered a significant advantage. A strong focus on customer service is mandatory. Experience with software development frameworks like Scrum and SAFe, along with interpersonal skills for collaborative work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, is important. Practical experience with tools such as Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, Rally, and Sonar is also beneficial.
