As a Software Engineer II, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications within a cloud environment. You'll collaborate closely with product owners and senior engineers to translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications. A key part of this role involves integrating AI technologies throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, leveraging tools like prompt engineering and generative AI to boost productivity, enhance code quality, and optimize testing and operations.

Your contributions will extend to ensuring solutions align with architectural standards and security best practices. Active participation in code reviews, comprehensive testing, and deployment processes is essential for maintaining system integrity and performance. We are seeking a Software Engineer II with 4-6 years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot is essential, complemented by a strong understanding of Azure Public Cloud and microservices architecture.

You should possess solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, DevOps methodologies, and experience with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases. Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and experience with databases like Oracle or Postgres is required. Hands-on experience with modern AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or ChatGPT for coding, testing, and design acceleration is crucial.

Basic understanding of application security principles and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP) is necessary. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) is expected. Proficiency in TDD and BDD practices is also a requirement. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills, is essential for collaborating effectively with global teams.
