Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable applications within a cloud environment. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and senior engineers to translate business needs into technical specifications. Ensuring solutions adhere to architectural standards, security guidelines, and best engineering practices is crucial.
Drive the adoption of AI technologies across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This involves utilizing prompt engineering, generative AI, coding assistants, and AI-powered tools to boost engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and operational efficiency. Actively participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment processes to uphold quality and performance.
Support operational excellence by monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and driving root cause analysis. Conduct research and Proofs of Concepts (POCs) for emerging technologies to enhance product performance and development efficiency. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, implementations, and operational support.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and automation initiatives. Engage in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives for efficient team collaboration. Work closely with senior engineers for mentorship and technical growth. Assist with effort estimation, project planning, and prioritization to ensure timely project delivery. Stay current with modern software development practices, evolving technologies, and security standards through continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
We are seeking candidates with 4–6 years of professional software development experience. Essential technical proficiencies include Java (version 8 or higher) and Spring Boot frameworks, along with a strong understanding of Azure Public cloud.
A solid grasp of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and DevOps methodologies is required. Experience with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases is necessary. A deep understanding of SQL, data modeling, and experience with databases like Oracle or Postgres is also critical.
Proficiency in using modern AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor for various software development tasks is expected. This includes prompt engineering, code generation, unit test creation, documentation, debugging, and design acceleration. A foundational understanding of application security principles and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred) is beneficial.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git, containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) is required. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices is also important.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are needed to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams. A commitment to producing high-quality code, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement is highly valued.
