As a Software Engineer II, you will own tasks from development through testing and deployment at the application component level. You'll be adept at troubleshooting and refactoring existing codebases, and open to adopting new languages and architectural patterns. A key aspect of this role involves influencing team decisions and mentoring peers and less experienced members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

You'll also be responsible for understanding and implementing standard data access patterns, employing defensive coding, logging, and alerts. The role requires managing the full feature development lifecycle, including technical design, tasking, and test plan creation, with a focus on defensive rollouts and rollback contingencies. Conducting product demos and communicating technical details clearly are also essential duties.

Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with tools like Claude code, Github Copilot, and MCP, with the ability to write Claude code plugins. A solid understanding of LANG graph, LLAMA index, and LANG chain is beneficial. Essential technical skills include proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring Boot, alongside knowledge of Kafka and cloud technologies.

Demonstrated experience in full-stack application development is crucial, covering backend services, persistence tiers, and interfaces. You should also be skilled in using enterprise tooling for the full SDLC, including CI/CD, version control, code review, and defect tracking. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and documentation.
