As a Software Engineer II on the Mastercard Payment Networks team, you will play a key role in enhancing our customer experience through continuous innovation and problem-solving. You will drive development using Java 8+ and Object-Oriented SOLID principles to create high-quality, reusable, and scalable microservices with technologies like Spring Boot and Event-Driven Architecture.

You will work within a CI/CD environment on a cloud platform, leveraging appropriate persistence mechanisms (RDBMS, NoSQL) and implementing coding best practices with quality gates. The role involves performing proofs-of-concept, coordinating with various Mastercard teams, and actively participating in an Agile development framework.

We seek a passionate software developer with strong Object-Oriented Programming skills and a solid understanding of product development. Expertise in Java and Spring Boot is essential, with experience in Event-Driven Architecture being a significant advantage.

Candidates should have experience with Online/Real-Time Systems development and CI/CD pipelines. Cloud-based development experience is desirable. Excellent communication and quick learning abilities are also highly valued.
