You'll work with cloud-native solutions on our Digital Network Architecture, employing a Scaled Agile Framework. As a Software Engineer II, you will be instrumental in developing high-quality, object-oriented code, focusing on Java 8 and above. You'll drive development using SOLID principles and design reusable, scalable microservices with technologies like Spring Boot and Event-Driven Architecture. Your role will involve working within a CI/CD and cloud environment, selecting appropriate persistence mechanisms (RDBMS, NoSQL), and adhering to coding best practices.
Key responsibilities include implementing code quality gates, conducting proofs-of-concept, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, and actively participating in an Agile environment through strong teamwork.
We are seeking a talented software developer with robust Object-Oriented Programming skills and a strong understanding of product development. Expertise in Java and Spring Boot is essential, with experience in Event-Driven Architecture being a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Online/Real-Time Systems development and CI/CD processes, with cloud-based development experience being desirable.
Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to learn quickly are crucial. As part of Mastercard, you will be responsible for upholding all information security policies and practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, reporting any violations, and completing mandatory security training.
