This role involves providing comprehensive support for application software through programming, analysis, design, development, and delivery of robust software solutions. You will be responsible for programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems applications, adhering to MasterCard standards and best practices. Develop high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions, and research technical alternatives for current and future business needs. Participate in feasibility studies, logic design, system flow analysis, and cost-time analysis. Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines, identify emerging issues, and recommend solutions. Engage in production incident management and participate in on-call pager support rotations. Document software programs according to best practices and ensure adherence to Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes. Assist in modifying documentation templates and contribute ideas to enhance standards and process efficiency. Support the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is required. This position demands a thorough understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in MC Core Competencies and possess 1 to 3 years of experience in the software engineering field. We seek individuals who are high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive, capable of functioning under pressure in an independent environment. A high degree of initiative and self-motivation, coupled with a willingness to learn and embrace challenging opportunities, is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, along with excellent relationship, collaborative, and organizational abilities.
