This role focuses on providing comprehensive support for application software. It involves critical tasks such as programming, analysis, design, development, and the delivery of effective software solutions. You will be instrumental in researching and implementing alternative technical solutions to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring our systems remain robust and efficient.
You will be responsible for the complete software lifecycle, including programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems application software, adhering strictly to MasterCard standards and best practices. A key part of your role will be developing high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions aligned with technical specifications and design artifacts, delivered within projected timelines and budgets.
Your duties will also encompass researching, creating, and evaluating technical solution alternatives for current and future business needs, considering emerging technologies and frameworks. You will conduct feasibility studies, logic designs, detailed systems flowcharts, and perform input-output flow analysis, alongside cost and time estimations. Collaboration with the project team to meet deadlines, identifying and resolving emerging issues, and independently managing assigned tasks and production incidents are crucial. Participation in on-call pager support rotation is also expected.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is required. You should possess thorough knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies, demonstrating adherence to MC Core Competencies. This position requires 1 to 3 years of dedicated experience in the software engineering field.
