Join Rippling's App Components Team as a Software Engineer I (Full Stack) and contribute to building the core of our "Enterprise Studio" experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and scale backend systems while also contributing to engaging frontend user interfaces.

You'll be instrumental in developing robust, scalable services and APIs that power complex enterprise data models and product functionalities. This is a dynamic role where you'll collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate intricate technical challenges into seamless, high-performance user experiences.

Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and Golang. Contribute to systems operating at scale, gaining exposure to distributed systems technologies like Kafka, Flink, and AWS. Write high-quality React and React Native code to deliver end-to-end features and intuitive UI components. Take ownership of product initiatives from conception through implementation, shaping technical designs for new capabilities. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating actively in code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust and practical components.

Requires 1+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in building production systems. Proficiency in developing scalable backend services is essential. Experience with Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS is highly preferred. Comfortable writing and shipping production code in React and React Native, with a solid understanding of component lifecycles, state management, and mobile constraints. Ability to design scalable, reliable systems and analyze trade-offs such as consistency, performance, and fault tolerance. Experience building reusable systems, frameworks, or developer-facing components is a plus. A proven track record of independently driving projects and delivering high-quality outcomes. Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
