Invent, design, and construct automated platforms for managing diverse data resources. Drive innovation by developing foundational tooling for all engineering teams, including specialized services like the Database Proxy and replication. Pioneer complex projects such as large-scale, zero-downtime database migrations.

Delve into technical architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization for petabyte-scale reliability. Build core foundations for strategic initiatives like multi-region architecture and a Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code platform. Focus on performance, observability, cost, and operability to maintain infrastructure handling billions of queries and petabytes of data transfer daily. Develop core libraries in Python and Go to enhance scalability and developer experience, taking full end-to-end ownership from design to operation.

Possess 1-2 years of experience in fast-growing, top-tier product companies. Demonstrate strong coding proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go. Exhibit an expert understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and low-level design.

Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Show a solid grasp of system design and complex distributed systems. Be eager to learn new technologies and apply them to solve real-world challenges. Bonus points for open-source contributions, competitive coding experience, and a strong Computer Science background from a leading institution.
