As a Software Engineer I, you will develop medium-sized projects and initiatives as an individual contributor, leading segment-specific efforts. You will be responsible for developing applications, system-to-system interfaces, and comprehensive software solutions, including creating essential documentation like user guides and software development guides.
Key duties include hands-on code development, participating in code peer reviews, and performing day-to-day support tasks. Effective communication is vital for conveying application status, coding challenges, and other relevant issues clearly and efficiently.
We are seeking a candidate with experience in software development and architecture, particularly within large-scale distributed and event-driven systems. A strong background in server development and administration is essential.
Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, various data stores, and web services is required. Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment tools like Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines, along with build tools such as Maven, is crucial.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is expected. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of taking ownership of technical issues and debugging effectively. Familiarity with GIT and ALM tools like Rally is also necessary.
While not mandatory, expertise in web technologies, especially AngularJS, would be a significant advantage. A strong customer focus and commitment to customer service are mandatory. Experience with software development frameworks like Scrum and SAFe, along with excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, is highly valued.
