Join Rippling's innovative App Components Team as a Software Engineer I, focusing on backend and full-stack development. This role is instrumental in building and scaling the core systems that power Rippling's "Enterprise Studio" experience.

You'll contribute to a platform-focused product engineering team dedicated to creating high-performing building blocks for a unified workforce management system. Rippling offers HR, IT, and Finance solutions, simplifying employee lifecycle management from onboarding to payroll and benefits.

Design and implement robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Golang, with a focus on complex enterprise data modeling. Contribute to the development of distributed systems, gaining exposure to technologies like Kafka, Flink, and AWS.

While backend expertise is key, you will also write production-ready React and React Native code to deliver seamless end-to-end product experiences and intuitive UI components. Take ownership of significant product initiatives from conception to deployment, helping shape technical designs for new "App Studio" features.

We are seeking engineers with at least 1 year of professional software engineering experience, particularly in building production systems. A strong command of Python, Golang, and experience with AWS is highly advantageous.

Proficiency in React and React Native is essential for contributing to the frontend. You should possess the ability to design scalable, reliable systems and understand system trade-offs. Experience building reusable systems or developer-facing components is a plus. Strong communication and independent project execution skills are vital.
