As a key member of a versatile team, you will design, test, deploy, and maintain sophisticated software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing advanced optimization models, such as mixed integer programming. - Designing and building other critical platform capabilities. - Experimenting with and prototyping foundational tech stacks for selection. - Implementing, deploying, and rolling out features safely and efficiently. - Collaborating with users and partner teams for feature scoping, rollout support, and training.
We are seeking candidates with a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A strong background in applying mathematical techniques to solve large-scale, intractable problems is essential. You should also have experience conducting advanced research in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant domain.
Preferred qualifications include a PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Operations Research. Experience with mathematical optimization techniques (LP, IP, MIP, NLP) and an understanding of cloud design considerations, distributed systems, and networking are highly valued.
