Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated optimization models, including mixed-integer programming solutions.

Build and enhance other critical platform functionalities.

Conduct experiments and create prototypes to evaluate and select foundational technology stacks.

Implement, deploy, and roll out new features, adhering to rigorous safe rollout practices.

Collaborate with users and partner teams to define feature scope, provide rollout support, and deliver training.

A PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Demonstrated experience in applying mathematical techniques to solve complex, large-scale problems.

Proven background in conducting advanced research within Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications include a PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Operations Research, alongside expertise in mathematical optimization (e.g., LP, IP, MIP, NLP). Understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations in virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and networking is also advantageous.
