As a key member of a versatile team, you will: - Design, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions. - Develop and refine advanced optimization models, including mixed integer programming. - Create and implement other crucial platform capabilities. - Conduct experiments and prototype to evaluate and select foundational tech stacks. - Roll out new features using safe and effective deployment practices. - Collaborate with users and partner teams for feature scoping, rollout support, and user training.

To excel in this role, you should possess: - A PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Demonstrated experience applying mathematical techniques to solve large-scale, complex problems. - Proven experience conducting advanced research in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related areas. - Familiarity with mathematical optimization techniques (e.g., LP, IP, MIP, NLP) is highly desirable. - An understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations, including virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and networking.
