Join the XB Science team as a Software Development Engineer to build and deploy cutting-edge ML-powered systems. These systems are crucial for international marketplaces, driving product discovery, optimizing selection, automating compliance, and forecasting demand across over 20 global markets.
You will collaborate directly with Applied Scientists, transforming ML models into scalable, production-ready solutions that generate significant annual business impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the development of innovative technologies in a cross-border context.
Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of ML model deployment and scaling, from SageMaker training pipelines to high-throughput inference endpoints serving millions of ASINs across diverse international markets.
Develop and maintain robust automated ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, model retraining, and inference orchestration using tools like Cradle, SageMaker, Glue, S3, and Lambda.
Architect systems for effortless market expansion, enabling new countries, languages, and programs through configuration changes rather than extensive re-engineering.
Ensure production excellence through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, on-call support, runbook development, SLA adherence, and optimization of latency and IMR.
Construct agentic AI infrastructure, including orchestration frameworks, tool-use APIs, and essential guardrails for AI agents.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required.
Possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
Demonstrate 3+ years of experience within the Video Games Industry, specifically supporting title development, release, or live operations.
Proficiency in programming with at least one software programming language is essential.
Preferred candidates will have 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous.
